Unfortunately I do not have sufficient skills to aid in the development but I tried to give Clinton some ideas on what features could be useful, for example the robot to interact with the characters created with sprites ...
Thanks for posting this, Laurens. Scratch is the easiest and most expressive programming environment for children I'm aware of, with over 1.5 million kid-produced projects online. I've really found it helpful to start teaching young roboticists by teaching them Scratch, and can't wait to see what they'll do with Enchanting, especially after I've made it easier to install and implemented suggestions from Donatella and others on the mailing list. I am grateful for help in making robotics programming more accessible to everyone.
The Technology Camp I work at, iD Tech Camps,uses both of those software for younger students. This is pretty awesome using Scratch as a tool for NXT. I am going to have to try this out over the summer.
I've been waiting for someone to create just such a link between scratch and nxt. Thanks so much! Can't wait to start experimenting. At our museum in sydney australia, Young people just love inventing and creating with scratch, and lego We-do connects the physical world. and now there's a simple step up into more complex machines. Awesome!
If it is completely and solid, we will be eager to adopt. It appears from the video that it only works tethered by USB, though. True? That would be a showstopper.

strangely for me scratch is very difficult and I dont understand how its good for children. but making a scratch tool for NXT is very interesting.
