Soundbot's going to be an interesting program methinks...

I'm expecting that you've essentially made a drum machine.

2 motors as inputs, one a pedal, the other a dial...
US sensor and touch sensor (with a pedal on it) for inputs
A 'microphone'.

Nice to see that not all bots are going to be mobile!

Also interesting to note that the building instructions differ from the picture of Soundbot. The lever attached to the motor on the left is inverted, not that it will change the function of that input.

Daniele Benedettelli has been added to the Lego MDP's site with his JohnNXT 5.

Hey, I just noticed something interesting. If you look under the cover of the box (where they show the parts inventory), you can see the manual with part of the top page flipped up. The picture you can see there is part of SoundBot!

Yeah, way back in Feb or March, I posted a grainy shot of it and asked what it was... I think a LEGO "insider" responded, because someone did suggest a DJ/sound function... now we know.

I almost cant wait for the programs to come out.
Im most interested in the sound bot, but the Classic clock also sounds interesting.

Aha, the portal has changed! But it only gives links to the building instructions website and the public mindstorms forums.

Oh, and BTW: interestingly enough, the picture for the link to the instructions (in my portal) is of the partially-constructed TriBot bumper!
